"Our neighborhood's own advocates of minimalism." -- The Brooklyn Rail

Dear Friends,

In August 2008, we celebrate MINUS SPACE's 5th anniversary. We've accomplished a lot during this time, including the creation of a comprehensive web site on reductive art now used by more than 800 people daily from 97 countries and the organization of 14 solo and group exhibitions by international reductive artists over the past two years.

We are now emailing to ask you for your financial support of our biggest effort to-date. MINUS SPACE has been invited by P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, an affiliate of The Museum of Modern Art in New York, to mount a survey exhibition opening on October 19, 2008. P.S.1 is one of the oldest and largest non-profit arts centers in the United States solely devoted to contemporary art. The exhibition will be curated by artist, Brooklyn Rail publisher, and P.S.1. Curatorial Advisor Phong Bui, and will include the work of 54 artists from 14 countries.

To cover exhibition expenses, including shipping, travel, and special events, we are hoping to raise $10,000. No matter how large or small your contribution, your generosity will go a long way to help us realize the exhibition and continue our mission of supporting reductive art on the international level.

Please consider making a donation at any of the following levels (complete instructions are below):

$0 Conceptualist
$25+ Minimalist

Your gift will make a huge difference and we greatly appreciate your support!

All our best,
Matthew Deleget & Rossana Martinez
